RCCG Hymn 222
I Will Not Leave You Comfortless
"Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?" - Acts 19:2
1
"I will not leave you comfortless," But if I go away, Will send the Holy Comforter, Your royal Guest for evermore, Abiding day by day.
2
Church of the Living God arise The fullness to receive, Until the lost in every place, Shall feel the need of saving grace, And shall on Christ believe.
3
God's skies are full of Pentecost, For you, for me, for all; Then let us humbly, boldly press, Our heritage in Christ possess, That power from heaven may fall.
4
Then quickly "back to Pentecost," That blessed upper room; And pray the mighty Lord of Hosts To send on us the Holy Ghost, And tarry till He come.
