Hymn
Send Showers of Blessing
Words: Eastwood, T. M.
As showers from the clouds come down Upon the thirsty ground, So shall refreshing show’rs of grace Be poured in plenty round.
Refrain
Send show’rs of blessing, Send showers of blessing; O Lord, from above, In thy wonderful love, Send showers of blessing.
The Word of God assures our hearts, We cannot plead in vain; The Lord shall brighten all the clouds And send the needed rain. [Refrain]
Of old, at Pentecost, the show’rs Descended from above, And many were the hearts refreshed With healing streams of love. [Refrain]
When we are ready to receive, Then is God’s time at hand When he will give refreshing show’rs And bless the weary land. [Refrain]
